The tapered long-stroke spool minimises resistance during the cast, allowing line to peel off effortlessly for maximum distance. Paired with a Slow Oscillation System and precision worm shaft transmission, the Surf 8K ensures exceptionally smooth line lay and reduced friction.
The rotor brake system stabilises the spool during casting, while double stainless steel line clickers enhance line control and bite detection.

Under the lightweight yet durable graphite body sits a stainless steel bearing system and Quick-Set anti-reverse roller bearing for solid, jaw-setting hooksets.
The Fast Progressive Drag system delivers up to 18kg (40lbs) of fish-stopping power, supported by carbon drag washers for smooth and consistent pressure.
