Our River Lune Sea Fishing Match is back!
 
Following the fantastic turnout for our first River Lune match back in February, we’re returning for another big day of fishing on the Lune.
 
Our February match saw over 60 anglers take part, with the winner walking away with an impressive £500 cash prize, alongside cash and vouchers for the runners-up.
 
This time, we’re doing it all again on Saturday 31st October 2026, with the match decided by one simple rule – the longest flatfish wins!

Date: Saturday 31st October 2026
Fishing Time: 12:00pm – 5:00pm
Entry: £15 per angler
Winner: Longest flatfish
Prizes: Cash prizes for the winners
Registration: Register at Bait Butcher Fishing Tackle before the match

Free BBQ & Beer Afterwards:

Once the fishing is finished, everyone is invited back to Bait Butcher for a free BBQ and beer. The February match had a brilliant atmosphere both on the riverbank and back at the shop afterwards, and we're hoping to make the return match even bigger.
