Saber Guardian Floatation Mesh Sling – Carp Weigh & Retention Sling
The Saber Guardian Floatation Mesh Sling has been designed to provide excellent fish protection when weighing, recovering and temporarily retaining carp on the bank.
Combining a soft, fish-friendly mesh construction with a specially shaped curved base and four ultra-buoyant padded foam tubes, the Guardian provides a secure and supportive environment for your catch while allowing water to drain quickly when weighing.
Heavy-duty zips, a safety cord and compact pack-down design complete a practical piece of carp care equipment suitable for anglers who take the welfare of their catch seriously.
Curved Base for Secure Fish Positioning
The Guardian features a specially designed curved base, helping the fish naturally remain
positioned towards the centre of the sling.
This provides additional security and support when handling and weighing your catch and helps prevent the fish from unnecessarily moving towards the edges of the sling.
It's a simple design feature that makes a significant difference when dealing with larger carp.
Super-Soft Fish-Friendly Mesh
Fish protection is at the heart of the Guardian's design.
The sling uses tough, super-soft fish-friendly mesh to provide support while helping protect the fish during weighing, recovery and temporary retention.
The mesh is also quick draining, allowing excess water to escape rapidly when the sling is lifted from the water ready for weighing.
Four Ultra-Buoyant Foam Tubes
The Guardian is fitted with four padded, ultra-buoyant foam tubes designed to keep the sling securely afloat when it's being used in the water.
The floatation helps maintain the sling in the correct position during recovery or short-term retention, while the padding provides additional protection around the structure of the sling.
Heavy-Duty Zips
For additional security, Saber has equipped the Guardian with heavy-duty zips.
These help keep your catch safely contained within the sling when it is being used correctly, providing additional confidence when temporarily retaining or allowing a fish to recover
before release.
Safety Cord & Storage Pocket
A safety cord is included, allowing the sling to be securely tethered when it's being used in the water.
The Guardian also incorporates a dedicated storage pocket for the safety cord, keeping everything organised when it's not required and reducing loose components when transporting your carp care equipment.
Designed for Easy Transport
Despite providing plenty of support when assembled, the Guardian has been designed to break down for easier transportation and storage.
This makes it much easier to carry alongside your unhooking mat, landing net and other carp care equipment without taking up unnecessary room.
Nylon Stink Bag Included
The Saber Guardian is supplied complete with a nylon stink bag, providing a dedicated storage solution for transporting the wet sling after your session.
It helps keep the sling separate from the rest of your equipment and makes packing away considerably more convenient.
